Veggie pâté

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, grated
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup buckwheat flour
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup grapeseed oil
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp dried thym  
  • 1 tbsp dried chive
  • 2 tsp dried marjoram
  • ½ tsp dried tarragon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¾ tsp ground pepper
  • ½ cup carrots, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 350°F. Oil a 8 x 4 inch (20 x 10 cm) pan.
  2. In a food processor, mix all the ingredients except the carrots until smooth.
  3. Then add the carrots to the mix and stir.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan.
  5. Cook for 45 minutes.
  6. Let it cool down for a minimum of 2 hours.
  7. It’s optimal to leave it 12 hours in the refrigerator before you dig it.
