Homemade granola

Ingredients

Dried ingredients

  • 2 cups oat flakes, gluten-free
  • 1 cup almond, chopped
  • ½ cup sunflower seed
  • ¼ cup grated coconut, sugar-free
  • ¾ cup dates, chopped
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • 3 tbsp ground flax seed + ⅓ cup water
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil neutral taste, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 300°F.
  2. Mix the flax seed with the water. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix all the dried ingredients
  4. In another bowl, mix the vanilla, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and the flax seed water mix.
  5. Mix the dried and wet ingredients together.
  6. Spread mixture on a baking sheet.
  7. Cook in the oven 30 minutes, flip half way thru.
